END OF YEAR REPORT // The top 50 math rock albums of 2018

Well folks, here it is. 12 months of math rock music shortlisted to 50 standouts by over 10,000 votes across 40 countries. 2018 was arguably the toughest year of voting on record, given the swathe of standout releases from some of math rock’s finest acts.

We’ve had great reception this year and, as always, we hope that you can treat these top 50 results as a statistically robust reflection of the world’s favourite math albums. Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for their favourites; it was a great year for music. Picking a solid 5 from a shortlist of over 150 albums is never easy, but this one was a true doozy. Nevertheless, let’s hop right in…
