It feels like yesterday, but it’s actually been nearly two years since Trust Fund Ozu released her unintentionally viral hit single, “J.K. Rowling Diss Track aka The Little Mermaid.” The resulting backlash, which included not-so-helpful major news channel broadcasts, would have been enough to drive most into obscurity. But in a way, that would have been giving in, and that just doesn’t seem like the kind of hot girl shit Faye Fadem would do.
In fact, Faye turned the tides with the incredible followup, “J.K. Rowling Apology Track: I’ve Changed My Ways!!” You can tell that the energy is still there, and potentially stronger than ever. That being said, we are incredibly stoked to say that she found the time to talk to us about her kickstarter for the new album, her relationship to her Digital Audio Workstation, and whether Ben Levin or Angel Marcloid would be a better first contact for aliens.
