Well, finally a bombshell that we actually want to talk about – the legendary SKiN Graft Records blew minds today with not one but two announcements:
One, that the Dazzling Killmen are in fact, reforming, and will perform at Dark Days Bright Night Fest this September. Founding members Nick Sakes (also of Colossumite and Upright Forms) and drummer Blake Flemming will be there, but get this – they will be joined by none other than Evan Jagels and Ben Greenburg of Uniform. That alone is so intense we can hardly stand it.
_
But so is the second announcement – a split between Yowie and Pili Coït. We haven’t heard from either of these bands in an official capacity for years, and all we can say is our eyes are wide open and we are salivating just knowing this will eventually reach our ears. Remember, we helped premiere that SKiN Graft Halloween compilation that featured both bands, and both Yowie and Pili Coït really went for the jugular.
Pili Coït’s side will feature two songs from what we can tell were recorded in the studio, and the Yowie side will have a live performance of “Museum Fatigue,” which may not be a new song but even newly unearthed Yowie performances are worth getting excited about, so definitely check out all details here.
