Seasons Greetings, children. Santa the overweight house-invading philanthropist is driftin’ on his sleigh rig real soon. But the festivities are starting early.
After their tour was cancelled due to a virulent member of the coronavirus family, North End and signal hill decided to collaborate in a different way. Their new split hit the virtual shelves yesterday, and it sees the bands in top form.
‘Winnebago Drive’ by signal hill is a dreamy and warbling instrumental rock song, written and recorded across LA, New York and London, where the members are based. ‘Cabra’ is North End’s first studio recorded track since the bangin’ Alpha State record back in 2017. The album art by Rishi Neal Arora pin-points the locations of North End and signal hill band members, and highlights the transatlantic recording process that brought this split together. Thank the heavens for Skype, Zoom and Teams, hey?
The signal hill/North End split will be released through Better Looking Records. Be sure to throw your wallet at it, kiddies…
