You ever get so hot you feel like your very soul could evaporate through your crispy-fried skin? That’s where we’ve been at for a solid week, and we are ready to fall off our own bones.
It’s a little gross, but that being said, it’s good to travel when you can, so if you find yourselves in a similar predicament maybe you see if there’s a way to head up the hills and catch a breeze. You know what also helps?
COMPILING ANOTHER MIXTAPE!
It might not realistically dip any temperatures or wick sweat from your brow, but maybe one day, if these keep doing well, we’ll get some kind of vinyl going. In which case you could use it to fan yourself. Possibly a friend. Check out the West Coast // Pacific Northwest edition below.
If you’re new around here, or just missed it because life is a box of cesium crystals (full of explosive surprises), in January we released the US above compilation, our biggest and boldest yet. We are currently looking at a similar amount of bands for this one, so roughly 30! We’ll be trying a couple more interlude / travelogue things too, because it seems like there was a good reaction to them, which we are very appreciative of! We wanted to make it feel a little more immersive, like you’re actually traveling through the regions, not just sampling from it.
Honestly, that’s about it! We’re just excited.
