Faux Ivory – Cornerstone Ransom (2017)

Somewhere in the dense jungles of Pahoa, Hawaii, one-man-band/composer Faux Ivory is crafting meticulously layered piano-based music. His newest release entitled Cornerstone Ransom is an immense journey through one man’s songwriting process. All the songs are arranged and recorded in one take, but the result resembles a refreshing, unique twist of Tigran Hamasyan, Zefs Chasing Cara, and a smidge of Delicious Death.

The program “Fruity Loops” can only take you so far as a musician. Clearly Faux Ivory is one of the few in this day and age that are still pushing that boundary.
