Well first things first, Rhode Island’s math rock champions Delko are coming at us like a beam of Atlantic sunlight with a soul-soothing exclusive, and we didn’t know how bad we needed it.
“After Party” bobs and glows like the best of early 2000’s indie-leaning-math a la Minus the Bear, Foals, and Bloc Party, but with fresh, updated perspective. With another couple of songs like this, Delko could be a household name in East Coast math rock in no time at all.
It’s an excellent start to Spring for the band, but a new single isn’t all Delko has to announce – they’ve also got a sick giveaway as well, but more on that in a moment – visit the exclusive “After Party” below!

Also if you’re on Spotify, you can pre-save the song here so it’s available on its actual release day, April 5th. Now, get a load of this giveaway, because we’re jealous as hell:
The band has partnered with Where the Living Room Used to Be, a podcast / label out of RI for a hyper-limited 7″ picture disc. This in itself is pretty cool, but to sweeten the deal, every purchase enters you in a raffle for 2 free tickets to see Delko, A Skylit Drive, and A Wilhelm Scream at RPRC FEST in New Bedford, MA on June 15th. If that’s not amazing incentive, we don’t know what is.
RPRC Fest is an independent festival put together by the recording studio and team of audio engineer/miracle workers over at Railroad Park Recording Co in Westport, MA – check out all the details at the RPRC Eventbrite page here, and don’t forget to check out more from Delko in the meantime over here.
