Scottish post-rockers Dialects have been heavily touring over the past two years, after releasing their debut EP LTKLTL in 2015. Now they have finally gotten around to recording a full-length, and we’re excited to present you with their first single ‘Superluminal’.

The intro features a clip we took from some recordings that NASA released to the public“, guitarist Conor Anderson says of the album opener. After that ethereal introduction ‘Superluminal’ starts with grandiose riffs, with that confident drive you usually expect from peers like ASIWYFA and Totorro. After a calm and sweet mid-section, which was “partly inspired by Oceansize” according to Anderson, the track starts getting quite mathy, fooling around with rhythmic shifts and odd timings, never forfeiting the good spirits it evokes.

dialectsDialects’ debut Because Your Path Is Unlike Any Other is out November 24th via Through Love Records. Check their Facebook for upcoming tour dates.
